WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON FUSION PARTS?
The FUSION Range warranty period is 6 months from the date of purchase.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THE FUSION RANGE?
This multi-purpose product has been designed to allow you to build your Montii, your way. No parts go to waste as you only purchase the parts you need, when you need them. With a switch of a lid, completely transform your FUSION from a Drink Bottle to a Smoothie Cup - with more lid options in the pipeline!
Our FUSION Universal Insulated Bases come in 4 different sizes - 350ml, 475ml, 700ml and 1L, with all colours available in all sizes - something you have been asking for years!
Our new design continues to employ the same vacuum-insulated, dual-wall stainless steel construction you know and love, with an understated embossed "M" logo, contributing to an elegant and subtle aesthetic.
The dishwasher safe paint extends above the shoulder of the bottle so no stainless steel can be seen once the lid is in place, for a sleek, seamless finish.
WILL MY FUSION BASE FIT IN A CAR CUP HOLDER?
FUSION bases measuring 7.3cm in width will fit into (most!) car cup holders - 350ml, 475ml & 700ml. The 1L base does NOT fit into a car cup holder.
WHAT ARE FUSION BOTTLES AND CUPS MADE FROM?
MontiiCo FUSION Universal Insulated Bases are made from Stainless Steel (18/8 and 304), with a kid safe, scratch and dent resistant finish. Our FUSION Smoothie Lid & Sipper Lid are made from BPA-free polypropylene (pp#5).
Our FUSION bases are one of the few Lead Free drink bottle options on the market.
WHAT SIZE BASE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
350ml: Is an alternative to a Classic Mini Bottle or a Classic Mini Smoothie. Perfect for toddler drink bottles & for small smoothies.
475ml: Suitable for a small drink bottle that will easily fit in your handbag, or as a smoothie cup.
700ml: Replacing our Classic Original Water Bottle. This one fits in your car cup holder & slides easily into a backpack side pocket.
1L: Replaces our Classic Mega Bottle. All day hydration without the need for top-ups.
DO THE CLASSIC LIDS FIT THE FUSION RANGE?
The FUSION bases, lids and straws have all been completely redesigned, so unfortunately no, the old style lids & straws do not fit the new FUSION bottles or cups.
DO THE CLASSIC BUMPERS FIT THE FUSION RANGE?
The FUSION bases have been completely redesigned, so while the new smaller width bases do appear to fit the Classic mini/original bumper, it is not a perfect fit. We would therefore recommend that you opt for one of the new bumper sizes (Small) to perfectly match your new base.
MontiiCo Mega Bumpers from our classics range DO NOT fit the Fusion 1L bases. They are a tight fit and leave a bubble on the base that doesn’t allow the bottle to sit flat. The Large Bumper is the correct bumper size for the 1L base.
ARE THE FUSION LIDS INTERCHANGEABLE?
Yes! All of the lids are interchangeable amongst the new base sizes, making FUSION the ultimate multi-purpose product.
FUSION Lids DO NOT fit on the Classic Bottle & Cup bases.
WILL THERE BE MORE LID OPTIONS IN THE FUTURE?
Yes, there are more lid styles to come, with Flask Lids, Shaker Lids & Coffee Lids coming very soon and more styles planned for next year.
WHICH FUSION BASES FIT INTO A BACKPACK SIDE POCKET?
The 350ml, 475ml & 700ml bases all fit perfectly into the side pockets of Montii backpacks. We recommend packing the 1L base inside the backpack.
WHY HAS MY FUSION ARRIVED IN PARTS?
All parts come individually packaged for the FUSION Range - Bases, Lids, Bumpers, & Straws and some basic assembly is required on arrival.
Perfectly Paired Bundles (ie. complete bottles or cups) are individual components that have been matched, but are still packaged individually and will require basic construction.

I AM GIFTING MY FUSION, CAN I GET IT IN A BOX?
All our FUSION Lids come with a swing tag attached, but sometimes a little something extra special is required - that's where our MontiiCo Gift Boxes come in.
Our flat packed Gift Boxes are available to purchase and are super easy to construct - just make sure you choose the right size to match your base!

ARE FUSION BOTTLES SUITABLE FOR FIZZY DRINKS?
We don't recommend using carbonated drinks in your MontiiCo FUSION Bottle or Cup, as the pressure build up and may cause injury depending on how the bottle/cup is being stored and which lid is being used.
ARE FUSION BOTTLES OR CUPS SUITABLE FOR HOT DRINKS?
All of our FUSION Universal Bases are double-walled, vacuum insulated (also known as thermally insulated), meaning they are suitable for hot and cold drinks – perfect for year round use. The wide mouth opening does mean you need to be EXTRA careful with hot liquids. Sipper Lid + Straw Smoothie & Flask Lids are not suitable for hot drinks.
DO FUSION BASES LEAVE CONDENSATION MARKS?
Our FUSION Universal bases are double walled – meaning NO condensation forms on the outside of the bottle or cup.
DOES THE FUSION BASE CONTAIN LEAD?
No way. There is no lead used in the construction of the base and all paint used on MontiiCo products is non-toxic, safe and durable.
HOW DO I WASH MY FUSION PARTS?
Wash and rinse all components thoroughly before first use, and after each use. Hand washing is recommended for best results. Our FUSION Universal Bases are dishwasher safe to 70°C. Our FUSION Lids, Bumpers & Straps are top-shelf dishwasher safe.
HOW DO I STORE MY FUSION?
Always store your MontiiCo FUSION parts empty, and completely dry inside. We recommend storing your empty Universal Bases without a lid affixed.
