It's designed to keep hot food warm and cold food cool until lunchtime. It's a standalone jar, so it packs next to your Bite or Feast Lunch Box in a Large Lunch Bag rather than inside the lunch box.
Mini Food Jar | 200ml
The Mini Food Jar is made for smaller portions, morning tea and breakfast on the go.
At 200ml it fits neatly inside our Feast Lunch Box, so you can add something warm to a bento lunch without packing an extra container.
Insulated Snack Pot | 260ml
Our Roam Snack Pot features our most advanced insulation for longer temperature control. Its taller, slimmer shape is designed to slide inside our Bite and Feast lunch boxes.
It's ideal for yoghurt, fruit, warm snacks and bigger appetites at morning tea.

What Size Food Jar Does My Child Need?
Choose the 400ml Food Jar for main meals like pasta, soup and leftovers, or for bigger eaters.
For snacks and smaller portions, the 200ml Mini Food Jar or 260ml Snack Pot is a great fit. Both also fit inside our lunch boxes: the Mini fits the Feast, and the Snack Pot fits the Bite and Feast.

How Do I Keep Food Hot in a Food Jar?
A little prep makes a big difference.
Pre-heat the jar with boiling water for 10–15 minutes, with the lid loosely on top.
Heat the food hotter than you'd like to eat it.
Empty the water and fill the jar straight away, as full as possible.
Keep it away from ice packs, as cold elements cool the jar down faster.
For cold food, pre-cool the jar with ice and cold water for 10 minutes before filling.
Are MontiiCo Food Jars Leakproof?
Our food jars have a removable silicone seal that creates a tight seal when the lid is closed correctly. Make sure the seal sits flat in its groove and avoid overtightening the lid.

Are MontiiCo Food Jars Dishwasher Safe?
Yes! Every part of our food jars (base, lid and seal) is dishwasher safe up to 70°C. For a longer-lasting lid, we recommend hand washing it, and make sure every part is completely dry before storing.
Our food jars aren't suitable for the microwave or freezer.
What Can I Pack in an Insulated Food Jar?
Think warm pasta, soup, fried rice, nuggets, dumplings or last night's leftovers. On warmer days, pack chilled yoghurt and granola, fruit salad, pasta salad or cut fruit.
All our food jars are lead-free and BPA-free, so you can pack with confidence.
