WHAT AGES ARE MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLES AND CUPS SUITABLE FOR?
MontiiCo Classic Original and Mega Bottles: Our Classic bottles have a wide mouth opening which is perfect for popping ice cubes in to keep your drink uber frosty! It does mean that younger children might need supervision while using their MontiiCo bottle though, or while they adjust to the wider opening – in case of spills. The screw top lid is easy to open and close, thanks to the cool handle that gives a little bit more leverage.
DO MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLES AND CUPS LEAVE CONDENSATION MARKS?
Our Classic Bottles and Cups are double walled – meaning NO condensation forms on the outside of the bottle.
ARE THE MONTIICO CLASSIC LIDS INTERCHANGEABLE?
Yes! The original, sports 2.0, sipper 2.0 and free pour lids are interchangeable on the Classic Range Drink Bottles. Please note these lids will NOT fit the FUSION Range.
HOW DO I WASH MY CLASSIC BOTTLE?
Wash and rinse bottle thoroughly before first use, and after each use. Hand washing is recommended for best results. Our Classic Bottles are dishwasher safe to 70°C, excluding the bamboo lid. Our sports lid 2.0, sipper lid 2.0 and free pour lids are top-shelf dishwasher safe.
Bamboo is a renewable natural product, there will always be natural variations in colour, tone and grain ensuring no two MontiiCoClassic Bottle lids look exactly the same. NEVER put the bamboo lid in the dishwasher. Putting your bamboo lid in the dishwasher WILL damage the finish and void your warranty. Hand wash only and always air dry thoroughly.
HOW DO I STORE MY CLASSIC BOTTLE?
Always store your MontiiCo Classic Bottles and Cups empty, and completely dry inside. We recommend storing your empty bottles without the lid affixed.
DO YOU STILL SELL REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR MY CLASSIC BOTTLE?

DOES THE PAINT ON MY CLASSIC BOTTLE CONTAIN LEAD?
No way. All MontiiCo painted products are nontoxic, safe and durable.
ARE MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLES SUITABLE FOR HOT DRINKS?
All of our Classic Drink Bottles are double-walled, vacuum insulated (also known as thermally insulated), meaning they are suitable for hot and cold drinks – perfect for year round use. The wide mouth opening does mean you need to be EXTRA careful with hot liquids. Sipper lid, sports and free pour not suitable for hot drinks. MontiiCo Classic Bottles provide 12 hours of warming. Some tips to get max warming:
- Pre warm the bottle just prior to use with boiling water. Attach lid and let stand for 10 minutes, then empty.
- After pre warming, fill your bottle, and replace lid for maximum insulation efficiency.
- Keep lid in place as much as possible to keep your beverage warm.
WARNING: Always exercise caution with hot beverages to avoid burns and scalds. Wide mouth bottles are NOT recommended for use to serve hot beverages to children.
ARE MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLES SUITABLE FOR FIZZY DRINKS?
You can use our Insulated Tumblers for fizzy/carbonated drinks! We don't recommend using carbonated drinks in your MontiiCo Classic Bottle, as the pressure build up and may cause injury depending on how the bottle is being stored and which lid is being used.
WHAT ARE MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLES AND CUPS MADE FROM?
MontiiCo Classic Bottles are made from Stainless Steel (18/8 and 304), with a kid safe, scratch and dent resistant finish. Our original bamboo lid is also Stainless Steel, with an engraved bamboo topper and small silicone ring to ensure a water-tight seal. Our sports lid 2.0, sipper lid and free pour lids are made from BPA-free polypropylene (pp#5).
CAN I PUT MY MONTIICO CLASSIC BOTTLE IN THE FREEZER?
No. The force of liquids expanding as they freeze can cause your MontiiCo Classic Bottle to become deformed and can also break the weld that holds the bottle together, so we strongly advise against it. Freezing any MontiiCo Classic Bottle or cup will void your manufacturers warranty.
HOW DO I WASH MY CLASSIC SMOOTHIE CUPS?
Our Classic Smoothie Cup bases, and straws are dishwasher safe to 70°C - we recommend to always hand wash the lids.
ARE THE CLASSIC SMOOTHIE CUPS LEAKPROOF?
While the lid does screw on to create a leakproof seal to help keep the contents cold, the straws are not leakproof. They do have a stopper to help stop them from being pulled out of the lid.
HOW LONG DO CLASSIC SMOOTHIE CUPS KEEP THEIR CONTENTS COLD?
Insulated double-wall stainless steel keeps contents cold at least 6 hours.
HOW LONG DO THE CLASSIC COFFEE CUPS KEEP THEIR CONTENTS HOT?
Insulated double-wall stainless steel keeps contents hot for 8 hours. It also has a Screw-on lid, with a flip-top spout that locks tight to keep content hot and avoid spills.
HOW DO I WASH MY CLASSIC COFFEE CUP?
They are dishwasher safe to 70°C.
WILL MY CLASSIC COFFEE CUP FIT IN MY CAR DRINK HOLDER?
Yes, these fit into most standard car drinks holders.
