So you have a bulge in your ice pack - Lucky there is an easy fix!

These types of issues can happen if the gel and water inside the Ice Pack have settled, separated, or are not mixed properly. This means that when the water inside then freezes it expands, but the gel doesn't. So it's basically a little pool of water inside causing the golf ball shape.

We suggest letting the ice pack completely defrosting and then to give it a good rub/shake to mix the gel inside. This should reincorporate all the inner materials and allow your ice pack to freeze flat.
