Absolutely! Our food jars keep food nice and warm for a whole 8 hours.

Our food jars are safe to clean in the dishwasher up to 70°C. However, it is important to remove the bumper and wash it separately to avoid water getting trapped between the bumper and the jar. We recommend hand washing the lid and removing the seal to ensure that no food is stuck underneath it.

Large Food Jar (400ml)

Capacity: Fits up to 9 chicken nuggets

Ideal for: Big eaters or hearty meals

Mini Food Jar (200ml)

Capacity: Fits about 5 chicken nuggets

Ideal for: Smaller portions or kids’ meals

Both kids complain the food isn’t hot

Not sure why but both of my girls say the food isn’t warm and won’t eat from the container. I follow all steps for heating /sealing food. Quite disappointed.

Below are a few tips which will help you get the best out of your food jars:

Using your MontiiCo food jar for HOT food

- To keep your food hot for as long as possible, we recommend pre-heating your food jar by filling it with boiling water for 10-15 minutes prior to use. Please note: Screw the lid back on while pre-warming the jar and do not open until pre heating time has finished.
- While your jar is pre-heating, Heat your food hotter than you'd like to eventually eat it, as it will naturally cool slightly.
- Pop you HOT food straight into the jar once pre-heating has finished and ensure you FILL the jar as full as you can to retain the most heat, empty space causes the food to cool more quickly.
- We recommend hand washing the lid.

WARNING: Always exercise caution with hot foods to avoid burns and scalds.
