I’ve had this montiico lunch bag on my radar for a few years, and every time I’ve decided not to purchase thinking it wasn’t a necessity on a tight budget.
We’ve had the bbox lunchboxes for a few years and they’re brilliant, so any additional item had to work with that size.
This year I finally bit the bullet and ordered two of these for my girls. I genuinely can’t believe that after sitting in a hot bag in the hot sun for the day, I can open their lunchboxes at 5pm and the leftover food coming out is still ice cold! Fresh cold fruit, dip that hasn’t split or melted, cold cucumber. It’s amazing! The ice packs still have a frozen middle.
The utility of this means we are able to pack so much more (as dip and dairy products were not staying cold enough without it).
I’ve even tested the ice pack in a different lunch bag and it’s still great, but it’s the combination of the montiico ice pack and insulated bag that is a game changer.
I highly recommend and I’d also love to see some plain colours or black so I can purchase for my teen!
