Our favourite freezer friendly lunch box recipes

With Back to School just around the corner, now's a great time to stock up your freezer with some easy grab and pack lunch box friendly recipes! All these recipes are perfect for making with your little ones and then storing in the freezer, and they'll defrost really well in a lunchbox. These are all nut-free too!

Corn Slice by Goodie Goodie Lunch Box

This tasty Corn Slice is the perfect non-sandwich lunch option for school or work.

This savoury slice recipe can be made in advance and stored in the freezer for 2-3 months - or in the fridge for up to five days. To freeze, cool the slice completely after cooking then cut into portions.

It’s a protein packed lunchbox addition that is so quick and simple to make!

Strawberry Crumble Bars by My Kids Lick The Bowl

Try these strawberry crumble bars for a pop of sweetness in a lunchbox using only simple pantry ingredients!  

These bars can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for 48 hours, or we love to pop a frozen bar in a lunchbox as it defrosts by snack time!

Ham and Zucchini Pastry Rolls by Kidgredients

This freezer friendly recipe uses good ol' Puff Pastry for super quick assembly and they only take 10 mins to cook in the air fryer! You could even swap the ham for cooked bbq chicken or salami.

Whip these up in bulk and freeze, then pop a couple in a lunchbox to defrost! 

Raspberry and Banana Bread by Good Little Eaters

The perfect lunchbox addition (for kids and grownups!) and a great way to use up your browning bananas. This recipe contains white choc chips (yum!) but you could omit them for a healthier version. These will keep well in the freezer for up to 3 months and you can cut them to size to fit your lunch box sections!
