Packed with Character: Our Biggest Bento Launch is Here
You know that face your kid makes when they spot their absolute favourite thing somewhere? That full-body, can't-contain-it excitement?
That's exactly what this launch is about.
Every print we release starts with a conversation. It starts with you guys; a DM, a comment, a message that says "please, PLEASE do dinosaurs on the Bento". Sometimes it starts with our team watching what kids gravitate toward in photo shoots, or noticing which prints sell out first. And sometimes it starts with something harder to put into words: watching a kid spot their favourite thing on a lunchbox and just light up.
That feeling is what we were chasing. And this time, we've gone all in.
Printed Bento Boxes are back! Four personality-packed designs, new matching Lunch Bags, fresh Latches, Dividers, and Bento Cups. Everything you need to build a lunch setup they're genuinely obsessed with.

Why We Went Back to Printed Bentos
For a while, we kept our Bento boxes simple. Plain colours, clean designs, easy to match with anything, and honestly, they worked really well.
But over time, something kept coming through in your messages and our comments.
"My kid doesn't get as excited about their lunch as they used to."
"They keep asking for something with dinosaurs on it."
"The bag is so cute! I just wish the lunchbox matched."
What we heard, consistently, was that when kids have a lunch setup that reflects something they genuinely love, they show up differently at lunchtime. They're more excited to open it. More likely to eat. And on a Monday morning, a kid who's enthusiastic about their lunchbox? That's not a small thing at all.
So we're brining back to printed Bentos! And this time, we built each print around the things kids aged five to seven are genuinely, deeply, sometimes exhaustingly passionate about.
Dinosaur: The Most-Requested Design, Reimagined
If we had a dollar for every time someone asked us to put dinosaurs on the Bento, we'd have a lot of dollars.
Dinosaurs aren't a passing phase for this age group. They're a deep, committed, emotionally significant obsession; and we wanted to honour that with something that felt genuinely fresh rather than just revisiting an old design.
The answer was deep forest green. Rich, earthy, and a little unexpected. Paired with bold, playful dino silhouettes scattered across the lid, it's made for the kid who spots a stegosaurus from a kilometre away and has very strong opinions about which dinosaur is best.

The Dinosaur print is now available across the Bento Two, Bento Five, and a brand new range of matching Lunch Bags in Mini, Medium and Large. Pair it with a Dark Green divider and an Apple latch for a set that feels sharp and intentional, or mix in your own combinations and make it uniquely theirs.
Unicorn: You Asked for It. We Listened.
Unicorns have always been part of the Montii world. And every time we launch something new, the first question in the comments is always: will there be a unicorn version?
This time, we wanted to do it differently. Not the bright, rainbow-saturated unicorn print you see everywhere. Something a little more considered. Magical without being loud, dreamy without feeling babyish.
Soft lilac tones with silhouette unicorns gave us exactly that. The kind of print a six-year-old unicorn lover feels genuinely proud to carry, not just excited about in the shop.

The Unicorn print is here on the Bento Two and Bento Five, alongside new matching Lunch Bags in Mini, Medium and Large. Add a Lilac latch and Purple divider to bring the whole set together, or mix in a pop of Floss for something that feels uniquely theirs.
Construction: A Favourite Finally Gets Its Bento Moment
The Construction print has been making families happy across our Lunch Bags and Backpacks for a while now. Earthy, sandy tones with bold machines scattered throughout. A print with a very loyal following, and for good reason.
The question we kept asking ourselves was: why isn't it on the Bento yet?
Adding it to the Bento Five and Bento Two felt like the most natural step in the world. It lets families who already love the Construction Lunch Bag finally build the full matching set, and introduces the print to a whole new audience who are about to become very devoted fans.
We deliberately kept the palette grounded. No bright pops, no neon. Just honest, sturdy, construction-site energy for the kid who has extremely strong opinions about diggers.

Sweetheart: The Print Our Community Kept Asking For
Sweetheart has one of the most dedicated followings of any print in our range. Soft pink with scattered hearts. The kind of design that photographs beautifully, matches with almost everything, and manages to feel both sweet and put-together at the same time.
When we looked at which prints were performing across Bags and Backpacks, Sweetheart kept coming up. And when we looked at the gap in the lineup; a Bento that matched, it was obvious what needed to happen.

The Sweetheart Bento is here across the Bento Two and Bento Five, with matching Lunch Bags in Mini, Medium and Large. Grab a Floss latch and Pink divider for a look that's polished and personal. Or go bold with a contrast latch for something a little unexpected... that's the fun of it.
The Finishing Touches
Every great set needs the details to pull it together.
New Latches are here in Apple, Floss, Lilac and Splash. New Dividers in Dark Green, Pink, Purple and Tan. And new Mixed Bento Cups in Apple, Dusk, Floss and Navy — perfect for adding extra sections, keeping snacks separate, and giving little ones even more ways to make their setup feel completely their own.
Whether you're going full theme or adding a contrast pop, these are the pieces that make it feel intentional.
