How to Use and Care for Your Food Jar Like a Pro

Whether you’re packing warm pasta for your little one or a cool fruit salad for yourself, our Food Jars are designed to make on-the-go meals a breeze. Here's how to get the most out of your Food Jar, plus tips on keeping it in top shape!

🧼 How to Clean Your Food Jar

Your Food Jar base is dishwasher-safe up to 70°C! But for best results (and to make sure no food gets trapped), we recommend hand washing the lid and removing the silicone seal. After washing, dry the jar completely and store it with the lid off to keep things fresh.

🔥 Keeping Food Hot (or Cold!) for Longer

Want that lunch to stay warm until midday? Here’s how:

  • Pre-heat your jar: Add boiling water and rest the lid loosely on top for about 10 minutes.

  • Heat your food slightly hotter than you’ll eat it—some cooling is natural.

  • Fill it up! Less air means better insulation.

🥶 For cold food, do the same, just swap boiling water for ice water before adding your chilled meal.

Safety tip: Always be careful with hot food to avoid burns or scalds.

💧 Is It Really Leakproof?

You bet! Our Food Jars are leakproof for all food types, even soups and sauces so you can confidently toss them in a bag without stress.

🛠️ Built to Last

Made from double-wall vacuum insulated stainless steel, our jars are durable, dent-resistant, and stay cool on the outside. The lids? Made with BPA-free polypropylene and a silicone grip for easy opening, even for little hands.

Hello! Does the food jar come with a spoon/fork or do these need to be purchased separately? Thanks
