Food Jars FAQ

Can I use for hot and cold foods?

Yes! Our MontiiCo Food Jars are double-walled, vacuum insulated (also known as thermally insulated), meaning they are suitable for hot and cold food – perfect for year-round use. 

Should I pre-warm my Food Jar?

We recommend pre-warming your Food Jar,  just prior to use with boiling water. Attach lid and let stand for 10 minutes, then empty

After pre-warming, fill your food jar and replace the lid for maximum insulation efficiency

Keep lid in place as much as possible to keep your food warm.

WARNING: Always exercise caution with hot foods to avoid burns and scalds.

Do you have spare parts?

We do! We understand that parts from your MontiiCo Food Jar may become lost, so have replacement handles, bumpers and seals. You can find them here 

How do I wash my MontiiCo Food Jar?

 

Wash and rinse your Food Jar thoroughly before first use, and after each use. 

Food Jars in our Fruity Pop range are dishwasher safe to 70°C. Be sure to remove the bumper and place it separately to your food jar in the dishwasher, to avoid water getting trapped between the jar and the bumper.

Please refer to the cleaning instructions on your MontiiCo product packaging. Food Jars that are not in the Fruity Pop range are not suitable for the dishwasher - this can damage the finish and void your warranty. 

The seal in the Food Jar is removable, we recommend removing to ensure no food is stuck underneath the seal.

Always store your MontiiCo food jar empty, and completely dry inside. We recommend storing your empty food jar without the lid affixed.

Do I have rust stains on my food jar?

All MontiiCo products are made from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel. This food-grade stainless steel is highly rust resistant, as well as safe, durable and BPA-free. Sometimes marks can be left behind from the electropolishing process which smooths the surface of the metal as electrolytes left on the surface can turn a rust colour, but this is perfectly normal and harmless.

To remove residue, we recommend that you leave your bottle/cup/food jar to soak overnight with hot water and baking soda or white vinegar. After soaking, give your bottle/cup/food jar a really good scrub using a bottle brush or a scouring pad. Let us know how you get on after trying this method!

Do MontiiCo Food Jars come with a warranty?

Our products are constructed with durable, long-lasting materials to ensure a consistently high level of quality. 

Our products have a manufacturer's warranty of twelve months. This covers any manufacturing defects such as issues with parts or materials, with proof of purchase. Wear and tear, and care issues (i.e issues NOT caused by a fault in the manufacturing process) are not covered under manufacturer warranty. 

If you find your product has a manufacturing fault, please complete this form as soon as possible, so we can work with you to find a resolution. We want you to love your MontiICo & Lunch Punch products and pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our customers!

We may ask that you return your items so that we can conduct a thorough investigation before a replacement/refund is given.  

Snack Bags FAQ

What is the size of the MontiiCo Pack and Snack?

They are 400ml capacity and 16cm wide x 12cm high.

Are they food safe?

Yes! They are made from a BPA free, non-toxic, Pure 100% Platinum food-grade silicone.

Are the Pack & Snack Bags airtight?

Yes! They have a firm close - simply press together to seal.

How do I close the Pack & Snack Bags?

When you close the Pack & Snack Bag make sure that you squeeze as much air out as possible (the same as you would with a zip lock bag) and press firmly to close the whole way around. As it's a silicone seal, it's larger than a normal zip lock and needs a bit more pressure to close properly. Make sure there's no food in the seal. 

Are they dishwasher, microwave-safe?

Yes! Super practical. Our Pack and Snack Bags are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe!

It’s important to note however that silicone is a porous material, and when placing them in the dishwasher ensure any dishes containing tomato / curry or bring coloured dyes are rinsed clean to avoid staining.
How do I get food stains of my Pack & Snack Bags?


Staining will not affect the use or safety of your snack bag and the food stains generally fade over time and eventually disappear. Placing the bags in direct sunlight, using a bicarbonate paste, or running them through several wash cycles will speed up this process.

HOW DO YOU SHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA?

Orders are shipped to anywhere within Australia for a flat rate of $10 (FREE over $99). 

All orders are processed as quickly as possible however due to the high volume of sales, it may take up to 5 to 7 business days for orders to process and be prepared to be dispatched with Australia Post.

We post Australia Wide via Courier or Australia Post. Shipping service is dependent on order size and delivery location. Orders sent via courier will require a residential address. A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is dispatched.

Please allow 10 working days for delivery as Australia Post has recently changed their domestic delivery timeframes. If you have any concerns over the status of your parcel, please contact us. Every satchel parcel sent by us is trackable from lodgement to delivery. In the rare circumstance that a parcel is missing, we will launch an investigation with the delivery service to locate it. Investigation times vary by service and the resolution will depend on the report findings. 

DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER?

No, we don’t allow local pickup of retail orders at this time. 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

In the unlikely event your item is defective or damaged on arrival, please contact us within 48 hours and we will do our best to rectify the situation. All items are checked and cross checked before packing.

If you change your mind on an unwashed and unused item you are welcome to post back for an exchange. Once we confirm the item is still in brand new condition, a credit for the item’s value less our restocking fee will be added to your account on our website for you to purchase an exchange. Postage costs associated with returning and receiving the new item, and the item price difference, are wholly the customers. We do not refund for change of mind.

Faulty or incorrect goods are welcomed to be returned for a replacement. Please contact us for details on how to exchange. We will reimburse shipping costs if we receive the return postage receipt with the returned item.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

We are unable to cancel those orders that have been fulfilled and dispatched. If your order has not yet been fulfilled by the time our customer service team are online, please get in touch with us so we can cancel your order for you. HOW DO I USE MY DISCOUNT CODE?

Discount codes do not apply over the Black Friday Cyber Monday period as the products available are already heavily discounted. 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN I ORDER A PRODUCT THAT IS ON PRE-ORDER?

A ‘pre-order’ is an item of high demand that is on backorder and is in transit to us from our manufacturer. Pre-order items have an ‘estimated release date’ which is the date given to us by the shipper for when it will arrive to us. The ‘estimated release date’ is advertised on the listing. Stock can arrive earlier, or later, than the ‘estimated’ date that is given. Customs and transit delays are unforeseen and unpredictable but sometimes do occur which can delay items arriving.

Orders containing a pre-order item will be held until the pre-order item is in stock, the entire order will then be sent in the next day’s dispatch. If you would like your other items sent earlier please purchase in two separate transactions.

How long is the Black Friday Sale on?

The Black Friday Cyber Monday Sale will be available for all customers from 7.30PM (AEST) Thursday 25 November 2021 until 11.59PM (AEST) November 29th 2021, or while stocks last.

Is everything on sale? 

Almost! All individual products (including replacement parts) are discounted by 20% during our Black Friday Sale. You can save 25% by purchasing one of our Value Bundles too! Gift cards, and reshipping fees are excluded from our sale. 

Can I use other discount codes on my order from the Black Friday sale? 

Black Friday is our biggest sale of the year at MontiiCo - with generous discounts storewide, including newly released products and value bundles. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to honour other discount codes during this time.   

MontiiCo Gift cards are still valid during sale periods, and as always, we have free shipping on orders over $99 within Australia too!  

The item I want is out of stock, will it be restocked?

The products available in the Black Friday sale are available while supplies last, the items will not be restocked. Items move quickly, so we advise you grab ‘em while you can!

If your favourite bottle or cup colour is out of stock, don’t fret! There will be a restock of our full Drink Bottle & Smoothie Cup range in time for Back to School. If shipping goes according to schedule then we expect this to arrive late December (not in time for any Christmas Gifts though).  Orders will open for those once the stock has landed, which is a few weeks after our Black Friday sale finishes. 

Did my Black Friday sale order go through?

An email order confirmation will be sent to the email address used in the order once the payment has been successfully processed. If you can’t find the email order confirmation within an hour or two of creating the order, be sure to check your junk mail.

In the chance that the email is lost in the wild wild web, check your payment account to look for a corresponding purchase transaction.  We also have a friendly Support Team available to assist you via email - support@montii.co

When will my Black Friday sale order be delivered?

All orders are processed as quickly as possible however due to the high volume of sales, it may take up to 5 to 7 business days for orders to process and prepared, ready to be dispatched with Australia Post.

Shipping Times vary depending on the destination and, due to high volumes of shipments at this time of the year, may experience longer transit times.

Once in progress, shipments can be monitored on the Australia Post website - simply log on to your account via our website to see the tracking information. Or check your email for the order with the tracking details.

To give you the best possible chance of your order arriving in time for Christmas, we recommend that you select our Express Shipping and Dispatch service at checkout.

When you upgrade to our Express Shipping & Dispatch service, your order will be sent express with Australia Post and given the star treatment at our warehouse. That means your order will jump to the front of the queue to be packed first. 

I forgot something in my order! Can I place another order and combine the shipping?

Black Friday is our biggest sale of the year here at MontiiCo, which means we receive a huge influx of orders, and our inventory moves quickly, with many products selling out. If you see something you would like to grab in the sale, your best bet is to place a second order before it’s gone! 

Our speedy warehouse team will be working around the clock to pick, pack and dispatch orders, which means it can be difficult to combine orders. If your order has NOT already been shipped, and you haven’t received a tracking number, please contact our customer service team at support@montii.co and we may be able to assist you. 

Can I change or add to my order?

Unfortunately due to the large volume of orders received, and our speedy warehouse team, we will be unable to change the items within an order once it has been placed.

If the address on your order is incorrect, and you haven’t yet received your tracking notification,  please contact our customer service team as soon as possible at support@montii.co and we can amend your order. We are unable to process address changes once your order has been shipped. 

Can I cancel my order?
